Nov 24, 2019 Enjoying a beautiful Sunday afternoon with Matt and the girls in the Taking the Reins garden, which is filled with wonderful leafy greens. Some of today's activities: Cooking, snacking, weeding, fertilizing plants, and admiring the girls' artistic garden signs.

Matt held a cooking class using vegetables and herbs from the onsite garden. He taught the girls how to make lentil soup, mint/chamomile tea, popcorn seasoned with olive oil and salt, guacamole, hummus and toasted bread.

The view from the kitchen shows the porch and garden area where two ducks (not visible in this picture) were happily swimming in a large mud puddle created by the heavy rain :)
